Woman Basketball Player Doll

The woman basketball player doll makes its debut in the sweetie bumbums collection just in time for March Madness!

Originally designed as a caricature of a real live high school player, the pattern is worked in “threes”.  Three different teams, three complexions and three hair styles! These three good friends will surely pique your imagination!

So cute, we had to name them too. Lucy is in red and white, Ollie (short for Olivia) sports the green and gold and Jenna rounds out the trio in blue and white

Adorably crocheted in readily available acrylic yarn, the girls’ personalities come alive in the details. I will warn you though, you’ll soon become addicted to creating the little extras! A hidden belly button, eyelashes, and  mascara! Once you get going you just can’t stop!

Mix and match the features to create a doll that looks like your favorite female player. So pull out your hook and yarn and don’t forget the basketball! I like to embroider the year on the basketball to record this fun bit of history!
