Fat Fringe Edging
Fat Fringe edging makes an ideal trim anytime you think of fringing a project. This is the companion pattern for the video How to Crochet Fat Fringe. It’s especially nice for garments made for children because they cannot easily pull it apart and eat the little strands.
Pattern includes variations for a one-color and multi-color fat fringe. It’s a perfect finish on blankets or afghans whether you put it on one, two or all sides. It can also be used to join seams, such as along the outer edges of a pillow.
You can spread the pieces of fringe out or work them close together. Both have wonderful results.
Fat fringe edging can be easily crocheted at long, medium or short lengths plus you can mix the lengths up for a luxious look.
Best of all, it’s fun to make and has been a go-to trim for many of my patterns. Easy to learn, easy to adapt, an essential crochet trim to add to your repetoire of edgings.
