Christmas Wreath and Frame Ornament pattern

The Victorian Christmas wreath and frame ornament pattern will delight the whole family!  It’s two patterns in one! The wreath measures just three inches across. Crocheted around a cabone ring, it features a slightly ruffled, scalloped edging. If you choose, add the open lacework back section and convert the basic wreath into a holiday picture frame ornament. Insert your child’s school picture into the frame and make your ornament year specific!

Whether you make the wreath or the picture frame variation, this ornament will become a favorite on your tree. It also makes a very thoughtful gift for friends, family, teachers and the many others whose life has touched yours.

Choose glistening nylon or colorful cotton thread to suit your fancy. I personally use Hilo Omega nylon #2 thread for my ornaments because of the vibrant color selection available and its durability. From year to year, ornaments made from nylon are as fresh looking as the year you made them. Plus the ornaments are unbreakable, a real plus for households with kids and pets!

You will surely want to add this delightful Victorian Christmas wreath and frame ornament to your tree this year.

This is the companion pattern for the video How to Crochet the Picture Frame Ornament.
