Short Finger Gloves for Passap E6000

Learn how to machine-knit Short Finger Gloves on the Passap E6000 or for that matter classic Full Finger Gloves, too! Both versions are included in this pattern! Plus, if you need a little help, watch the companion video tutorial  How to Machine Knit Short-Finger Gloves on the Passap E6000.

The pattern is based on Pattern 2431 from Passap Model Book #26 which was originally designed for the Passap DM-80 but I revised and expanded the instructions so you can use the features of the Passap E6000 to knit it. Plus I modified the pattern in a few other ways. The ribbing seam has been moved from beneath the thumb to the opposite side near the wrist bone. The 1×1 ribbing is longer, so it extends farther up the arm or can be folded over for extra warmth. A short-finger option keeps the fingertips free for using modern technology. The pattern was also expanded to include three sizes: Women’s Small, Medium, and Large.

The pattern calls for using two strands of 2/24 acrylic yarn knit together and requires no more than 2 ounces of yarn. Once you have knit your first pair, you won’t be able to stop making Short-Finger Gloves! and what a great way to use up those little bits of yarn!
