Easy Shoulder Bag

Whether you need a durable everyday bag or a glamorous evening bag, you can crochet the easy shoulder bag in just an evening!  Use rich, bright colors for daytime and black or silver for night! It’s the choice of colors, straps and flare that tone it down or glam it up!

In the pattern, we include a variety of strap options. Crochet the strap right onto the purse in two different ways. Make the strap short , long or even adjustable! Or… simply purchase a chain or webbed strap premade.  Whatever you prefer, there are options to to tickle your fancy.

All three variations used Artiste #18 nylon thread which is readily available at Hobby Lobby!

The polished twist of the nylon thread accentuates the subtle patterning of spiraling stitches to create this very elegant shoulder bag. While the basic single crochet is the featured stitch, the glimmering finish of the nylon thread adds the pizzaz!
