Sheep Doll pattern

“Baa, Baa, little sheep, have you any wool?”

“No, sir! No, sir!” our little sheep bleats.

From the tip of his pink nose to his stubby black tail, our little crocheted sheep doll is made completely in acrylic and polyester yarns.

The marriage of contrasting colors and textures create both the features and personality of our little sheep. A hairy, specialty yarn, reinforced with white baby yarn, provide his fluffy wool coat.  Black sport yarn makes his face, ears, legs and tail seem sleek and smooth and provides the perfect background on which to create his humorous expression.

Although disguised by the variety of yarn textures, simple crochet stitches and techniques are used throughout the pattern so even beginners will be able to make our little sheep. Once you get the feel for handling the textured yarn, you will have an entire flock in no time.
