Baby Building Blocks pattern
Bright colors and soft curves make our baby building blocks the perfect toy. Since our project requires just small amounts of each color, simply delve into your leftover basket. Retrieve red, blue, yellow, orange, purple and green, a different color for each side of the cube.
Arrange the sides so the primary colors meet at one corner, arrange the secondary colors to meet at another. Now bring the two halves together so that the orange meets the yellow and red, purple meets the red and blue, and green meets the blue and yellow. By cleverly positioning the sides, you have just created multiple lessons in color for the baby.
Speaking of lessons, the baby building block is also an ideal project to teach an older sibling the fundamentals of crochet. Teach your child the simple single crochet to make the sides. With an accent color, a charming, hand-stitched look is achieved when the squares are crocheted together from the inside.
Quick to make, easy to learn, build family camaraderie with our cheerful baby building blocks.
